South Korean navy conducts live-fire drills in response to DPRK nuke test

Military drills conducted to "strengthen the determination to punish N. Korean provocation": ROKN

The Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) conducted live-fire drills “intensively” on the east coast of South Korea on Tuesday to show its “determination to punish North Korean provocation” in the wake of Pyongyang’s sixth nuclear test on Sunday, according to a statement provided by the ROKN.

The navy reportedly staged “anti-aircraft” and “anti-ship” military drills with live-fire from several warships.
