N. Korea celebrates missile launch with over 100,000-strong parade in Pyongyang

Amid international criticism, scientists behind Hwasong-12 launch on Sunday praised as "brave"

North Korea celebrated the successful launch of the new Hwasong-12 ballistic missile with hundreds of thousands of Pyongyang residents greeting the missile's developers, Rodong Sinmun, an organ of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), reported on Friday.

North Korea announced on Monday that the country had successfully test-fired a “ground-to-ground medium long-range strategic ballistic rocket” the previous day.
