S.Korean political parties attack Chinese reprisals over THAAD

ROK government to set up task force against China's ban on selling travel packages to S.Korea

South Korean ruling and opposition political parties said on Thursday that China’s economic retaliations to the deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery “crossed the line," a day after Beijing announced a ban on travel to South Korea.

The South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MCST) confirmed to NK News on Friday that the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) had called local travel agencies in Beijing and given verbal instructions to stop sales of all travel packages to South Korea online and offline.
