N. Korea appoints Ri Son Gwon head of inter-Korean agency

KPA officer involved in North-South military talks named as Chairman of CPRC

Ri Son Gwon has been named as the new head of the DPRK’s state level inter-Korean agency, in an article published by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) covering an inter-Korean issues related conference held in-country on Thursday.

In the article Ri was identified as “chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country (CPRC) of the DPRK.”
