MoU to be investigated by S.Korean lawmakers in Choi-gate inquiry

“Choi Sun-sil was not involved in state affairs,” MoU reiterates

Officials from South Korea's Unification Ministry (MoU) will be summoned as witnesses by the recently launched national investigation committee regarding the scandal known as Park-Choi gate, the ministry announced on Monday.

Jeong Joon-hee, a MoU spokesperson, reiterated that Choi Sun-sil had not been involved in unification affairs, contrary to reports by numerous South Korean newspapers.
