North Korea has released its most detailed commentary yet on the results of the U.S. presidential election, after an almost two-week-long silence, in editorials published by the state-run Rodong Sinmun and Uriminzokkiri over the weekend.
Rodong Sinmun, North Korea's most read newspaper, mentioned President-elected Donald Trump on Saturday, several days after Korean Central News Agency (KCNA)'s coverage on Wednesday which mentioned the election only in passing - and in the context of the ongoing Choi-gate scandal in South Korea.
