International Federation of the Red Cross details progress and obstacles in recovery efforts

International flood recovery operations in North Korea are moving forward but face several obstacles including a lack of funding, logistical issues and provision shortages, according to a report by the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC) released on Thursday.

The IFRC published an Emergency Appeal Operation update, which includes a detailed overview of its ongoing operation in aiding the DPRK in the flood recovery, specifically for 7,000 targeted families (28,000 individuals).
