North Korea deploys Musudan missile near east coast

South Korean military remains vigilant for possible fifth Musudan test launch

North Korea deployed a Musudan (BM-25) intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) on its east coast, South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency reported Tuesday.

According to Yonhap, an unnamed South Korean government official reported that South Korea detected the movement of a missile – likely a Musudan IRBM – on a transporter-erector-launcher (TEL) on North Korea’s coastal region near the Sea of Japan (known in Korea as the East Sea).
