Beijing non-committal on reported N. Korean coal sanction

China's state media claims a sanction could run until May, would cost the DPRK $160 million

China’s Foreign Ministry did not confirm reports from state media which claimed Chinese traders in Dandong had been blocked from importing North Korean coal.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying answered a question on the issue as part of her regular briefing yesterday.
