Little hope of breakthrough in inter-Korean relations in 2016: KINU

The possibility of Six-Party Talks is relatively higher, due to the U.S. and China's position

Seoul’s state-run Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU) has revealed its prospects for the upcoming year, expecting little chance of a breakthrough in inter-Korean relations.

The report, published December 15, pointed out the two Koreas' historical disagreements over the agenda of meetings, dating back to the 1970s and '80s, suggesting the necessity of regularizing the meetings.
