North Korea and Russia looking to build new bridge

Floating bridge will be for vehicle transport across the Tumen river, car ferry and hydro plant renovation also discussed

North Korea and Russia are looking to construct a new pontoon bridge for vehicles on the Tumen river between the two countries, according to a press release from the Russian Ministry of Far East Development.

The statement came after talks between DPRK foreign trade minister Ri Ryong Nam and Russia's Minister for Far East Development Alexander Galushka in Pyongyang last week.
