N. Korea’s annual CPC greetings continue to shrink

Experts note expanding trade, say Pyongyang has skipped greetings in years of previous tension

North Korea’s leader on Wednesday sent his annual greeting to the Communist Party of China on the occasion of the CPC’s 66th anniversary, a letter that seems to be getting shorter by the year.

The letter cannot currently be found on the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) website – nor can past letters to China – but may be found on KCNA Watch.
