ROK government plans to send thermal scanners, but Kaesong companies must provide own masks: MoU

The South Korean government will provide the Kaesong Industrial Complex with three thermal scanners for detecting MERS, but a South Korean source at the complex called this inadequate.

The Yonhap News Agency reported on Thursday that the South Korean government plans to provide three thermal scanners to be installed at the port of entry at the Kaesong Industrial Region, but on Friday a government source told NK News that it would not be providing additional supplies to prevent the disease’s spread.
