North Korea to develop new international tourism zone

New zone to be developed near Sino-NK border, Mount Paektu

North Korea is developing a new international tourist zone in Samjiyon County in the northeast of the country, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said Thursday.

The area is close to the China-North Korea border and the iconic and historically important Mount Paektu.
