Russia mulling language tests for North Korean workers

Passing test prerequisite for obtaining a work visa, could be a problem for DPRK workers heading to Russia

Russia’s Deputy Minister of Science and Education said testing centers could be opened for North Korean citizens who wished to work in Russia, according to local media on April 9.

In order to receive a Russian work permit, recent legislation requires that applicants must pass a test showing they have a grasp of the Russian language and history.
