North Korea is manufacturing its own light aircraft based on foreign designs, state media reports revealed Wednesday.
Photographs in Pyongyang’s state-run Rodong Sinmun revealed that North Korea is indigenously producing light aircraft in at least two models of foreign origin at a machine plant managed by Jon Tong Ryol. Kim previously visited this facility in August, though photographs released at the time showed no aircraft.
