No evidence of attack on North Korean defector: Danish authorities

Asylum-seeker claimed to have been severely injured, threatened by agents of Pyongyang

A prosecution office in Denmark has found no evidence to support claims by a North Korean asylum-seeker that he was attacked by agents of the Pyongyang government in the country late last year.

Kåre Skjæveland, head prosecutor for the Mid West Jutland police department, told NK News on Wednesday that his office has closed the case following an investigation by police in the northern town of Hanstholm.
