North Korea imposes work restrictions on taxi drivers: Xinhua

Restrictions reportedly in force since April this year

North Korean taxi drivers in Pyongyang have been operating under government rules since April that restrict them from working on consecutive days, Chinese news agency Xinhua reported on Thursday.

The days on which taxi drivers are allowed to work reportedly operates on the basis of whether the vehicles licence plates end with an odd or even number.
