Since the exchange of fire at Yeoncheon last Friday, several South Korean politicians have spoken out against the scattering of leaflets defaming the North Korean regime in fear of jeopardizing civilian safety and inter-Korean relations.
Kim Moo-sung, leader of the ruling Saenuri Party, said that he believes the South should “refrain from acts that aggravate the North” and instead focus on “exchange, cooperation and dialogue.”
