UK, N. Korea agree on more cultural exchanges

“When you have two countries who know so little about each other, you have to find ways to build connections"

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the British Council and the DPRK Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, designed to expand cultural exchanges between the two countries.

It is hoped that the memorandum, while containing little in the way of specifics, will lead to expanded interactions between the two countries, particularly in the arts and in education.
