Some New Yorkers have told me about how terrible the weather is in New York City during the summer. They also taught me an expression - "it's so hot, you could fry an egg!" What a wonderful description. Yes, New York City is truly hot in the summer. It is the middle of June, but I have already tasted the intense heat.
