S. Korea will donate 6.3 million to UN agency in North Korea

Donation follows $6 million donation to UNICEF in July

South Korea will donate U.S. $6.3 million in humanitarian aid to North Korea via the World Health Organization, a Unification Ministry statement said on Monday.

The donation to the World Health Organization will come from South Korea's inter-Korean cooperation fund, an account created by Seoul in 1991 to support humanitarian and economic exchanges between the divided Koreas.
