LONDON – The U.S. launched a 'Minuteman III' nuclear capable inter-continental ballistic missile from its Vandenberg Air Force Base this morning.
The launch was originally scheduled to take place in April but was delayed so that it would not be “misconstrued by North Korea,” a Vandenberg Airforce Base launch update said. Last-minute technical problems ended up pushing back yesterday's rescheduled launch to today.
