Trade between North Korea and China reached a new six-year high in November after rebounding from an October slump, thanks to a sharp increase in both imports and exports, official data shows. Bilateral turnover shot up to $281 million last month, marking the highest level since the $287 million recorded in Oct. 2019, China’s General Administration of Customs (GAC) announced Thursday. The rebound comes after trade dipped to $227 million in October, down from $271 million in September when North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
