Six U.S. nationals who allegedly attempted to send bottles filled with rice, cash and Bible content to North Korea from a restricted border area have been referred to prosecutors to face criminal charges, authorities confirmed Tuesday. The Incheon Metropolitan Police told NK News it handed over the suspects to the prosecution on charges of violating the Framework Act on the Management of Disasters and Safety. “They were referred to the prosecution without detention,” an official for the Incheon police said.
