A Russian military aircraft flew in and out of North Korea’s capital early Sunday after stopping by Siberia en route from Moscow, in its second-known trip to the DPRK since December.

The An-148 (RA-61735) arrived in Pyongyang at around 5 a.m. KST from Vladivostok, Flightradar24 records show, remaining on the ground for about 2.5 hours before returning to the Far East city.

The jet, operated by Russia’s Air Force, initially departed Moscow on July 25 for the Siberian city of Novosibirsk, landing there before continuing on to Vladivostok. The plane then departed for Pyongyang on July 27 at 4 a.m.
