Trip to discuss health care and economic cooperation comes as DPRK firms eye business in Russia’s Kursk region

Dozens of North Korean officials and entrepreneurs departed for Moscow on Monday, looking to push forward health care and economic cooperation with Russia after the allies’ military successes against Ukraine in Kursk.

The first of the two DPRK delegations that departed on Monday is led by vice health minister Jon Sol Ryong, who is visiting Russia at the invitation of deputy health minister Sergei Glagolev, according to state media and the Russian Embassy in North Korea.
