The U.S., EU and South Korea have imposed new sanctions on North Korean military officials leading troops deployed to Russia, part of coordinated measures aimed at curbing the two countries’ cooperation against Ukraine.
The unilateral sanctions announced on Monday and Tuesday designate dozens of individuals and entities and come days after Kyiv warned that Russia has begun using DPRK soldiers in more prominent combat roles in Kursk.
