Ukraine claims North Korean troops killed in Kursk carried fake IDs

Documents of alleged DPRK soldiers identify them as ethnic Russian minorities, evidence of effort to conceal deployment

The Ukrainian military claims it has seized fake identification documents of North Korean soldiers killed in action in Kursk, presenting the latest evidence that DPRK troops disguised as Russian soldiers are supporting Moscow’s war effort.

The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) on Monday published photos of three dead men and their military identification documents, showing their signatures in Korean script.
