Customs authorities say they found frozen animal parts in luggage of man flying from Vladivostok to Pyongyang

A North Korean man has been caught attempting to smuggle frozen “Himalayan bear paws” from Vladivostok to Pyongyang, Russian customs authorities announced Tuesday.

Authorities have initiated a probe after customs officials found “12 frozen predator paws” while inspecting the luggage of the DPRK citizen at the Far East city’s airport, the Russian Federal Customs Service said in a statement.
