North Korea has once again pushed back the opening of the long-delayed Wonsan Kalma beach resort zone from May to June 2025, according to state media on Tuesday, after leader Kim Jong Un inspected the site over the weekend.
In a possible dig at South Korea’s ongoing martial law crisis, Kim also touted the DPRK’s “political stability” — a reference to his unchallengeable dictatorial rule — as a key selling point expected to lure hoards of foreign tourists, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
