North Korea set to dispatch workers to Russian weapons factories, Zelensky says

Ukrainian leader warns DPRK will gain experience in drone production as he appeals to South Korea for military aid

North Korea is set to dispatch workers to Russian military factories to boost the production of drones and other munitions for Moscow’s war efforts, Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky told a leading South Korean broadcaster, as Kyiv pushes Seoul to provide direct weapons support.

In an interview with KBS News aired on Thursday, Zelensky claimed Pyongyang plans to send civilian laborers and military engineers to work in various Russian weapons plants under the allies’ troop deployment agreement, but did not provide any evidence for these allegations.
