North Korea sends more trash balloons, second launch since ROK military parade

South Korean military reports launch early Friday morning, with balloons later spotted in skies above Seoul

North Korea launched more trash-filled balloons toward Seoul early Friday morning, the second barrage since South Korea showed off its biggest weapons at a military parade earlier this week.

“North Korea is suspected of launching anti-ROK trash balloons once again. Based on current wind patterns, there is a possibility these could drift toward northern Gyeonggi Province and the greater Seoul metropolitan area,” Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) stated at around 2:30 a.m. on Friday.
