North Korea and Russia are jointingly hosting a large information technology expo in Pyongyang this week, showing off new tech in a collaboration that one expert called a clear violation of international sanctions.
The event opened on Tuesday at Pyongyang’s Sci-Tech Complex and features “advanced IT products and scientific achievements” presented by research institutions and companies from Russia and North Korea, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Wednesday.
