DPRK national team has achieved success at highest levels of the game, despite starting from nothing in the 1980s

North Korea’s women’s soccer team is set to be a strong contender in the U-20 Women’s World Cup that kicked off this week, having already won the tournament twice and crushed Argentina by the score of 6-2 in its opening match.
