North Korea launched trash balloons on consecutive days over the weekend, ahead of the Chuseok fall harvest holiday, according to the South Korean military.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) announced at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday and again at around 5:20 p.m. on Sunday that the DPRK had carried out more balloon barrages, the 19th and 20th launches since late May.
