North Korea launched hundreds of suspected trash balloons across the inter-Korean border for the first time in nearly a month on Wednesday night.
The DPRK had sent at least 420 balloons as of Thursday morning, according to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), with the launches still ongoing as late as 9 a.m. KST.
