North Korea fired “multiple” short-range ballistic missiles toward the East Sea (Sea of Japan) on Thursday morning, according to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), Pyongyang's first such launch in over two months.
JCS said the launch occurred at around 7:10 a.m. KST from “somewhere in Pyongyang” and that an unspecified number of missiles flew around 224 miles (360 km) before landing in the sea.
