Former U.S. President Donald Trump invited North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to watch a New York Yankees baseball game during past nuclear negotiations, the Republican candidate claimed at a rally on Saturday, as he continues to highlight his relationship with the dictator during his election campaign.

Speaking in Michigan, Trump recalled asking Kim, “Why don’t you do something else” instead of buying and making nuclear weapons.
