Singapore nonprofit to resume work in North Korea this fall, a first since COVID

Choson Exchange plans to hold in-person workshop in sign of DPRK’s willingness to increase business engagement

A Singapore-based nonprofit that supports aspiring North Korean entrepreneurs plans to resume face-to-face training in the DPRK this fall, potentially signaling Pyongyang’s willingness to increase business engagement after years of border restrictions.

“Very happy to say that after 4 years of online education programs, we have restarted our in-country programs in Korea after visiting the country!” Choson Exchange announced on social media on Tuesday.
