North Korea says it ‘does not care’ whether Donald Trump wins US election

State media says former president did not bring ‘substantial change’ after Trump claims Kim Jong Un ‘misses me’

North Korea does “not care” who wins the upcoming U.S. election despite former President Donald Trump’s close ties with leader Kim Jong Un, according to a state media on Tuesday.

In a commentary, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) noted that Trump said in his recent speech accepting the Republican nomination that he got along well with Kim and that it’s “nice to get along with someone who has a lot of nuclear weapons.”
