North Korea does “not care” who wins the upcoming U.S. election despite former President Donald Trump’s close ties with leader Kim Jong Un, according to state media on Tuesday.
In a commentary, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) noted that Trump said in his recent speech accepting the Republican nomination that he got along well with Kim and that it’s “nice to get along with someone who has a lot of nuclear weapons.”
