North Korea launches more trash balloons after ROK turns on border loudspeakers

Seoul previously warned it could resume ‘full-fledged’ propaganda broadcasts if DPRK keeps sending waste balloons

North Korea launched more suspected trash balloons toward South Korea on Sunday, after Seoul resumed propaganda broadcasts across the border days earlier.

The balloons are currently moving toward the northern part of Gyeonggi Province following westerly winds, Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff announced in the morning, warning citizens of falling objects and urging them to avoid contact with balloons on the ground.
