Around a dozen landmine explosions along the inter-Korean border have killed “several” North Korean soldiers in recent weeks, the South Korean military stated on Wednesday, as DPRK continues construction work in the area despite the start of the summer monsoon season.
The military also said that it has found North Korean mines in the South in recent days, warning that the DPRK is installing landmines in a “sloppy” manner that leaves them prone to being washed away by heavy rains.
