Belarus’ top diplomat to visit North Korea for first time on Tuesday

Trip by Maxim Ryzhenkov comes as DPRK bolsters ties with mutual ally Russia and Minsk eyes trilateral cooperation

Belarus’ foreign minister is set to travel to North Korea on Tuesday, marking the first visit by the Minsk’ top diplomat as the DPRK bolsters ties with their mutual ally Russia.

Maxim Ryzhenkov will arrive in Pyongyang on July 23 and stay until July 25, his ministry announced in a brief press release, without providing additional information.
