South Korea has carried out its first propaganda loudspeaker broadcast directed at North Korea in six years after Pyongyang sent over 300 trash-filled balloons across the border.
Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) announced in a press release that the military conducted the broadcast on Sunday afternoon in response to North Korea’s “despicable acts” and added that it may carry out additional broadcasts depending on Pyongyang’s response.
