Despite a late start and delegation miscommunication, the pair appear to have taken their friendship to the next level

Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un’s shorter-than-anticipated summit was marked by the signing of a “comprehensive treaty,” which experts call significant but also warn should be taken with “a grain of salt.”

After arriving late, as per his usual habit when it comes to meeting world leaders, Putin was greeted at Pyongyang’s Sunan International Airport in the wee hours of the morning by Kim Jong Un.
