News Italian animation studio to pay $538K fine for outsourcing work to North KoreaMondo TV settles with US Treasury over 18 alleged sanctions violations from 2019 to 2021 An Italian animation company has agreed to pay a fine of over half a million dollars for violating sanctions by outsourcing work to a North Korean studio, according to a statement released by the U.S. Treasury Department on Wednesday. The Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) states that Mondo TV, S.p.a.
