The U.S. announced new sanctions on Thursday against five Russian individuals and entities for facilitating arms trade between Russia and North Korea, underscoring Washington’s efforts to disrupt military cooperation between the two countries.
The new measures target two individuals and three entities attempting to move military equipment through Russia-based networks and front companies in support of Moscow’s war against Ukraine, the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) said in a press release on Thursday.
