South Korea’s foreign ministry carried out a mass reshuffle of divisions responsible for North Korea on Tuesday, reorganizing its headquarters for denuclearization talks and downgrading the rank of its lead nuclear envoy.

The Korean Peninsula Peace and Negotiation Headquarters will be reorganized as part of the Foreign Affairs Strategy and Information Headquarters, which will have four bureaus that will absorb the previous division’s responsibilities, the foreign ministry stated in a press release.

The four bureaus are the Foreign Strategy and Planning Bureau, the Foreign Strategy and Information Planning Bureau, the Korean Peninsula Policy Bureau and the International Security Bureau,
