North Korea vows military action in response to ROK maritime border ‘intrusions’

Statement from vice minister of defense also warns DPRK will dump ‘mounds of filth’ in South Korea after leaflet launch

North Korea has threatened it will take military action against South Korea in response to ROK ships that cross the maritime border between the two countries.

“The supreme military leadership of the DPRK on May 24 instructed its army to take offensive action against the enemy's provocative encroachment upon the sovereignty of the DPRK,” North Korea’s Vice Minister of National Defence Kim Kang Il said in a statement released by the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) on Sunday.
